The squad was set up following four anglers leaving Mosella Garbolino and forming together several anglers who had departed Tipton Van-Dan Enyde in 2006.

Due to the success of the initial 10 anglers in the team in the 2007/8 winter league (Angling Times) and in the following semi final, it was felt the base had been set and further expansion in the squad would only enhance performance and results.
