Steve has barely been in the country twenty four hours and is already banking huge specimen catfish and carp.
Steve's captures so far include a 77lb Siamese carp (pictured right) and a collosal 150lb Mekong catfish!

Maver Bathampton enjoyed a superb victory in round 3 of the Kennet & Avon teams of four Spring League series fished between Wolfhall and Bayside.
After a lack lustre second round performance, Darren Gillman and his men secured a total of fifty-three points out of a possible sixty to recalim fourth position going ahead of the fourth and final round next Sunday.

Maver's Charley Clark has won this year's annual British Pole Championships.
The junior event, which is organised and ran by Westwood Lakes (Lincs.), saw thirteen teams of four compete for both overall individual and team prizes on Skylark and Hawk lakes.
Charley drew peg 31 on Skylark and managed a superb 61-04-00 to help her team secure overall victory as well as picking up individual honours in the process.

Pemb Wrighting continues his impressive run of form at Gold Valley Lakes after securing the venue's top weight recorded so far this year.
Pemb drew the Syndicate lake and decided to start the match 'dobbing' in an effort to mug a few early fish. However, given the sheer volume of fish present, Pemb was able to catch for the majority of the match 'dobbing' for visible fish.
Later, Pemb switched to the margins to take a late run of five carp for a final 240lbs - the biggest weight of the year so far.

Monday 13th May marked the opening round of the 2013 Drennan Knock Out Cup.
Fished across both Barson Lakes, Solihull and Packington Somers, Meridan, one hundred anglers went head-to-head to qualify for the second round of this eagerly anticipated annual competition.

Maver Bait-Tech team Captain Wayne Swinscoe has recently confirmed two additional signings in the shape of Richie Reynolds and Sam Merry.
