Another new signing for Maver is Steve Winter. Formerly sponsored as part of the Maver Bait-Tech team, Steve has now earned himself an individual sponsorship deal following a consistent show of form at the sports top level. Known best for his Roach fishing on UK fenland rivers, drains and canals, Steve is a top class angler and brings a wealth of match fishing knowledge and experience to the team.
Paul Cook
The first new signing of 2012, Paul is a well known and respected match angler. Paul has an enviable record at Maver Larford Lakes and is considered a venue expert. A very strong angler indeed.
Martin Churchill
Martin first began match fishing in 2002 and honed his skills on his local open match circuit. It wasn't long before Martin started to establish a fearsome reputation on his local circuit enjoying numerous successes, attracting attention from various big name brands in the process. Martin is already backed by Fish Frenzy (Nash Baits) and has previously enjoyed spells with Sensas Rod & Reel and Tri Cast Western. Martin also brings with him a wealth of experience at International level representing his country with Shimano Team Wales, receiving his first team cap in 2006 for the Six Nations, Ireland.
Charley Clark
Charley Clark may be Maver's youngest individually sponsored angler, but has already proven she has the capability of producing results at all levels. A certain future angling star with International potential.
Danny Bache
Dan is one of the most consistent anglers around at high level. Dan has been match fishing since the age of 13 and remains a force to be reckoned with on many venues up and down the country.
Marc Jones
Marc has an impressive list of angling achievements to his name including the coveted Fish O' Mania title. Marc is proud to be a Maver ambassador and hopes to do well under the Maver banner.

With Wayne Mellings at the helm this Midlands based Match squad has begun to make a big impression in a very short period of time. Maver Bathampton
Maver Bathampton bring knowledge of a wide variety of angling disciplines to Maver UK. They are a well respected team on the match circuit and add valuable input to all aspects of the Maver brand.
Maver Newman Scott
Maver Newman Scott are a force to be reckoned with on the NE match circuit with many of the team consistantly winning matches on both rivers and commercial still waters throughout the region. Thanks to their effort and success, Maver brand awareness has increased dramatically.
Maver Bait-Tech
One of the newest teams at just 10 months old Maver Bait-Tech have a mix of youth and experienced anglers. Backed by Maver UK and Bait-Tech products, the team has enjoyed a fantastic start amassing numerous victories in prestigious events.
Maver Bait-Tech continue to strengthen the Maver brand throughout the East Midlands.
West Midlands Police
WMP Team Maver have been a successful match group for a number of years, being well respected within the emergency and combined services arena both Nationally, and in Europe.
WMP have much experience in European events having competed in European match angling championships in a variety of countries and venues since 2000.
WMP Team Maver have consistently achieved success year on year.
Maver North West
Maver NW are an established group of coarse anglers with decades of experience between them. Since fishing for Maver the team have achieved great success in a number of prestigious events including the Pennine Winter League and the King of the Valleys.
Maver NW continue to impress on the Northern canal circuit also with recent promotion to the division one National this year. A very competent group of match anglers.
Maver Royal Navy
Maver Royal Navy currently compete in the Division 2 National. The team has a blend of youth and experience from both the Royal Navy and Royal Marine Commandos on both commercial and natural venues.
The team includes two National Champs section winners and is comprised of anglers from all over the UK. The team competes annually within the Armed Forces as part of the Tri-Service Champs, which Maver Royal Navy have won a number of times in recent years, as well as taking part in Combined Service events, invitationals and the NATO Overseas Challenge in Holland.
Maver Gold Bag 'Em
Maver Gold is an additional squad that has recently formed from the Maver West Midlands Police team. The team is made up of both inexperienced but promising youth anglers and experienced match anglers that, together, cover a wide variety of angling disciplines including rivers, commercials and canals.
The team, although only recently formed, has already stamped its authority within the Midlands match fishing circuit finishing runner-up in the Heronbrook winter league.
Maver Cardinals
Founded in 1983 by Sam Davies, the squad has gone from strength to strength. In 1990, the team became NFA members and climbed the rankings from Div. 6 to Div. 1 by 1997, remaning in the Nationals until 2007.
With the teams recent new recruits fitting in well and addressing a previous weakness on commercial fisheries, the team has great hopes for the future.
Maver Image
Maver Image are led by team Captain Steve Clark. The team continue to compete in some of the countries most prestigious events and remain a force to be reckoned with.
Maver Image are the reigning AT Eastern Region Shield champions and feature one of the most individually talented anglers in the country in Gary Miller.
Maver Milton Keynes
Led by Team Captain, Ian Smith, Maver Milton Keynes are a force to be reckoned with on the match circuit enjoying success all year round in various leagues and competitions.
Maver Lobby's
Lobby's Matchgroup started from humble beginnings but have proven over a number of years they have the ability to produce top class anglers through hard work and dedication to the sport. The team are hoping to go from strength to strength with the help and support of Maver (UK).
